These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all bookings for group trips organized and conducted by immersommer, based in Switzerland. By making a booking, the participant agrees to these terms.
The trip description and any offers together with these T&Cs form the binding travel contract between immersommer and the traveler.
Registration is made in writing via the inquiry form on our website or by email. The booking includes accommodation in hotels operated by immersommer and becomes binding upon receipt of the written confirmation from immersommer.
A deposit of 30% of the accommodation price is due within 14 days of receiving the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before departure. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, the full accommodation price is due immediately.
Payments are made by bank transfer to the account specified in the invoice or via the payment methods offered on the website.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing (by email). The date of receipt of the cancellation by immersommer is decisive.
The following cancellation fees apply:
• More than 60 days before departure: CHF 250 processing fee — the balance will be refunded in full.
• 30–60 days before departure: 50% of the accommodation price will be retained.
• 14–30 days before departure: 75% of the accommodation price will be retained.
• Less than 14 days before departure: 100% of the accommodation price will be retained.
A transfer of the booking to another person is possible up to 7 days before departure (processing fee CHF 100). The replacement person must meet the participation requirements.
Immersommer reserves the right to cancel a trip for important reasons, in particular due to force majeure or unforeseeable safety risks in the destination country.
In the event of cancellation by immersommer, payments already made for the accommodation will be refunded in full within 14 days. Any further claims (e.g. flights already booked) are excluded.
Taking out trip cancellation insurance as well as comprehensive travel health insurance (including repatriation) is strongly recommended and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Immersommer is not responsible for damages or costs resulting from a lack of insurance coverage. Please check your insurance coverage before booking.
Immersommer organizes and coordinates local activities (surfing, volcano hikes, treks, etc.) as part of the travel program. Payment for these activities is made directly on site to the respective local provider — immersommer does not charge any fees for this and acts exclusively as an intermediary and coordinator.
Contracts for local activities are concluded directly between the traveler and the local provider. Immersommer assumes no liability for the execution of these activities by third-party providers.
Immersommer is liable within the scope of legal provisions for the proper organization and coordination of the trip as well as the provision of accommodation according to the travel contract. Liability is limited to the accommodation price, to the extent permitted by law.
Immersommer is not liable for damages caused by third parties (e.g. airlines, local service providers) beyond its control.
Participation in activities (surfing, volcano hikes, treks) is at the participant's own risk. By booking, the participant confirms that they have the necessary physical fitness for the booked activities.
Immersommer reserves the right to make minor program changes that do not affect the overall character of the trip (e.g. due to weather conditions, availability of local service providers, or last-minute adjustments on site).
In the event of substantial program changes, travelers will be informed immediately and have the right to withdraw from the booking free of charge.
In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, official orders, etc.) that make the trip impossible or significantly impair it, immersommer is entitled to cancel or terminate the trip.
In this case, the unused service components will be refunded proportionally after deduction of costs already incurred.
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of immersommer in Switzerland.
Should individual provisions of these T&Cs be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Immersommer reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The version valid at the time of booking is decisive.
